Wynn finding his way on Georgia’s offensive line

After creating a lot of buzz early in preseason camp, freshman Isaiah Wynn says he’s settled behind Brandon Kublanow at left guard.

Kublanow, a sophomore, was considered a top contender for the position this spring but was set back with a stomach illness.

“I love the way he plays,” Wynn said. “I really look up to him because he’s just a great player. Everything he does I want to do the same and even better.”

Wynn is also getting second-team reps at center behind David Andrews.

“I’m just out there taking it day by day and going my hardest,” said the 6-foot-2, 283-pound St. Petersburg, Fla., native.

Wynn said he feels like he’s doing “pretty good, but we’re waiting on the coaches’ opinions on that.”

Wynn said he thinks he did well learning the playbook, “but I also need to learn a heck of a lot more and also just finishing after the play, I need to be better.”
