WNBA teams waive twins sisters, former UGA stars Coco and Kelly Miller

Former Georgia women’s basketball players and twin sisters Coco Miller and Kelly Miller were waived Monday by their respective WNBA teams.

The Los Angeles Spark released Coco Miller, who had played in 10 games and had one start this season. She was averaging 2.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in 14.1 minutes per contest.

The New York Liberty released Kelly Miller, who played in 11 games with no starts. She averaged one point, .70 rebounds and .5 assists per game through 7.5 minutes a contest.

The Miller sisters graduated from Georgia in 2001 and still rank among the Lady Bulldogs’ all-time best in several statistical categories. Both were standouts at Mayo High in Rochester, Minn.
