At Malibu, Calif., the Georgia volleyball team dropped a three-set match to the Miami Hurricanes in the Pepperdine Asics Classic on Saturday afternoon at the Firestone Fieldhouse.
Miami won with set scores of 25-19, 25-13 and 27-25 to drop the Lady Bulldogs to 2-3.
Georgia’s Kathleen Luft and Kathleen Gates each recorded double-doubles. Luft provided a match-best 15 kills to go along with 12 digs, while Gates had 33 assists and 11 digs.
