ATLANTA–There weren’t any plans immediately after Georgia’s 70-58 SEC tournament semifinal loss to Kentucky Saturday for the Bulldogs to get together to watch their postseason fate on TV on Sunday night

The Bulldogs are likely to land an NIT bid with their NCAA tournament hopes now all but over.

There was disappointment in the locker room, but it didn’t wipe out the satisfaction of going 12-6 in the SEC and tying for second with Kentucky.

“We played our hearts out.,” guard Charles Mann said. “They just made plays when needed and won the game. They deserved to win.”
