Kyle Farmer is trading in the Red and Black this summer for the Red, White and Blue.
The Georgia infielder was recently selected to play on the Collegiate National Team — or Team USA, as the kids call it — and said he couldn’t be much more excited about it.
The team, which also includes former Oconee County star and current Mississippi State standout Adam Frazier, reported for duty at the team’s complex in Cary, N.C., this weekend, and practices began Sunday.
There’s a lot more than tossing around a ball at practice, though. As Farmer talks about in the video interview below, there’s some international travel (Cuba, The Netherlands) and plenty to pick up to help him improve during his senior season.
