Blog: Video: Murray and Burnette talk about preparing for Florida

To hold you over until the next Dogbytes Online blog post and until the paper hits your door in them morning, here’s a quick video of Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray and offensive lineman Chris Burnette talking about preparations for Florida.

Murray, of course, is from Tampa, and so must face 100 versions of this question: “How important is going to Jacksonville for you knowing you’re from Tampa?” As someone from the Tampa Bay area, I’ll tell you that Jacksonville feels a world away from Tampa. And, really, Athens is only 100 miles further from Jacksonville than Tampa is. I briefly asked Murray about it, and he agreed the state is so big Tampa and Jacksonville don’t feel like the same place. Now, if you asked him about returning to his home state, that’s a different answer.

I’ll end my geography rant there and post the video.

And one more detail a few of you have been asking about. We had originally planned to release the Gameday section on Saturday for various reasons, but we have had a change of plan. Expect it in your Thursday paper, and I believe some are even being trucked to Jacksonville to be sold there.
