Georgia basketball — particularly coach Mark Fox — has gotten a lot of attention in the last two days since the Bulldogs stunned No. 21 Missouri on the road Wednesday night.
The show of emotion from Fox, weeping on the bench in the final seconds days after his father died, touched many across the sports world.
“I didn’t take the time to grieve,” said Fox, whose team plays Alabama Saturday at 4 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum.
Fox said today he’s heard since then from some of his father’s former players in high school and junior college and from Sen. Saxby Chambliss.
