UGA women’s tennis team blanks Missouri

ST. LOUIS – The No. 5 Georgia women’s tennis team recorded its second consecutive shutout Friday, defeating Missouri 4-0.

After winning the doubles point, Lilly Kimbell won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6 singles, Silvia Garcia won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 and Maho Kowase clinched the match – her fifth clincher of the season — at No. 2 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory.

The Lady Bulldogs will play at 3 p.m. Sunday at Texas A&M.
