UGA wide receiver an academic casualty

With summer classes starting on Thursday, Georgia will hold a team meeting Wednesday night.

Two signees won’t be there, including one who won’t play for the Bulldogs this season.

Wide receiver Gilbert Johnson from Homestead, Fla., is expected to be an academic casualty. Scout.com rated him a three-star prospect.

Defensive back Shattle Fenteng from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College has an English composition class to complete but expects to be at UGA before the end of June in time for the second summer session.
