UGA volleyball falls to No. 2 Florida on the road

The Georgia volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-18) to the No. 2 Florida Gators in Southeastern Conference volleyball action on Sunday at the O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 14-4 on the season and 4-2 in SEC play. Florida improves to 17-1 overall and 6-0 in league action.

Brittany Northcutt led the Bulldogs offensively with seven kills, followed by Stacey Smith with five. Jasmine Eatmon and Lauren Teknipp each posted four kills in the match. Kaylee Kehoe and Maggie Baumert split time as the setter, finishing with 11 and 10 assists, respectively. Allison Summers picked up the lone Georgia service and led the team with 12 digs. Northcutt also led the team with two blocks, while four other players recorded one block each.
