Blog: UGA spring practice: It’s a wrap (w/DB video)

Georgia is closing spring practice with a lot less fanfare than it began.

That’s the nature of things now that the new defensive coaching staff is finishing up its 15th and final practice of the spring Thursday afternoon.

And G-Day has come and gone. The Bulldogs still had two practices this week.

The team is out on the practice field in shorts today.

You can see video of defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and the cornerbacks above.

I didn’t see safeties Tray Matthews (hamstring) or Tramel Terry out there today. Cornerback Devin Bowman also isn’t out there.

Practicing in non-contact today were tailback Keith Marshall (knee) and cornerback Reggie Wilkerson (knee).

Tight end Jordan Davis (knee) was running on the side. Tight end Jay Rome (foot) was also out.

The new FieldTurf practice fields were put down this spring and it looks like the multipurpose indoor room also may be getting a new surface.
