Blog: UGA preseason report: ILB Ramik Wilson returns to practice (w/OLB video)

Georgia’s All-SEC linebacker Ramik Wilson is back practicing Wednesday morning for the first time in a week and a half.

The senior is going through drills in a non-contact jersey this morning. Wilson had been out after sustaining a concussion. Georgia is scheduled to practice again Wednesday night.

Also returning to practice Wednesday in a regular jersey is cornerback Shattle Fenteng. Freshman safety Dominick Sanders is in a non-contact jersey. Defensive linemen Chris Mayes and Lamont Gaillard aren’t practicing, but came out on the field in green jerseys at the end of the media viewing period.

Fullback Merritt Hall remains out and wasn’t on the field that I saw.

Tony Ball’s wide receivers are a banged-up bunch with now six players in non-contact jerseys and two others (Malcolm Mitchell and Charlie Hedgedus) out.

Reggie Davis’ left hand is clubbed up in a cast and is out. Freshman Isaiah McKenzie remains out of drills. Practicing in non-contact jerseys: Chris Conley, Justin Scott-Wesley, Kenny Towns and Clay Johnson.

Inside linebacker Ryne Rankin returned to practice in a non-contact jersey. Outside linebacker Davin Bellamy is in a non-contact jersey.

Now for some football. Or some football drills. Check out the outside linebackers going through their paces in practice in the video above.
