The Georgia football team returned to the practice field Thursday afternoon to some good news with a couple of players coming off injury.
Inside linebacker Ramik Wilson has shed his non-contact jersey and practiced in a regular jersey for the full pads workout. You can see Wilson and the other inside linebackers working the sleds early in practice. Wilson missed a week and a half after sustaining a concussion.
Defensive lineman Chris Mayes, who was out all this week, practiced in a non-contact jersey.
Freshman receiver Isaiah McKenzie remains sidelined with an undisclosed injury. He is on the side while the receivers go through drills.
Receiver Reggie Davis is practicing in a non-contact jersey, but his left hand injury was just taped up today and not clubbed up. Chris Conley and Justin Scott-Wesley (knee) continue to practice non-contact.
So does safety Dominick Sanders.
The fullback pecking order was the same: Taylor Maxey, Cameron Faulkner, Christian Payne and Detric Bing-Dukes.
The quarterbacks took aim at targets in a net. You can check out that video above as well. I deftly avoided a throw off target from Jacob Park.
