After a day of rest, the Georgia football team is back on the practice field Monday morning for the third two-a-day of camp.
There are some new guys on the injured list after Saturday’s scrimmage.
Wide receiver/returner Isaiah McKenzie was standing by the receiver group with a ball in his hand but isn’t participating. Neither is safety Dominick Sanders and fullback Merritt Hall. Defensive lineman Chris Mayes, who was out prior to the scrimmage, still hasn’t returned.
Inside linebacker Ramik Wilson remains out with a concussion. He wasn’t spotted outside this time.
The wide receiver group has several players going in non-contact jerseys: Jonathan Rumph, Justin Scott-Wesley, Chris Conley and Kenny Towns. N.C. State transfer Charlie Hegedus was on a stationary bike also in a non-contact jersey. Cornerback Shattle Fenteng is practicing non-contact also.
The tight end position is getting more guys back. Jordan Davis is in a regular jersey.
Speaking of tight ends, Jeb Blazevich made a nifty one-handed grab and looked good catching passes when I saw him.
Check out some video above of the tailbacks going through a drill this morning.
Didn’t notice this initially, but as Gentry Estes of 247Sports noticed freshman inside linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes (No. 33) is working at fullback in the video with Hall out.
The running back order remains the same: Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall, Brendan Douglas, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.
