UGA-Ole Miss game site of big recruiting weekend

Georgia will not only play host to Ole Miss this weekend. Georgia coach Mark Richt said he expects plenty of recruits to be on hand to witness the Bulldogs play the Rebels Saturday.

“I would think a lot of kids would be coming,” Richt said. “We’ll have a recruiting meeting (Thursday) to try to get a gauge of how many kids have said they’re coming and how many we think might come.”

Georgia coaches are not allowed to discuss specific recruits, but two of the Bulldogs’ top targets — wide reicever Jonathon Rumph of Holmes (Miss.) Community College and defensive tackle Montravius Adams of Dooly County — are expected to be in attendance Saturday, according to FoxSportsNext.

Rumph is a four-star recruit and considered one of the top junior college prospects in the nation, while Adams is rated the No. 1 defensive tackle and No. 7 overall in the class of 2013 by FoxSportsNext.
