UGA men’s swim team ranked sixth in season’s first CSCAA poll

The Georgia men’s swimming and diving team is No. 6 in the initial College Swimming Coaches Association of America rankings released this week.

The Bulldogs are off to a 4-0 start, including victories over Kentucky and LSU in the conference. Georgia’s next meet will be Friday, Nov. 1, at No. 2 Florida.

Michigan holds down the top spot, followed by Florida, California, Texas and Stanford. Other SEC schools in the poll include No. 7 Tennessee, No. 12 Auburn, No. 15 Alabama, No. 16 Missouri and No. 25 South Carolina.

The initial CSCAA poll for the women will be released next week.
