The top-ranked Georgia men’s golf team moved into fifth place at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship after posting a 7-under 281 in Macon on Saturday.
The score helped the Bulldogs climb one spot in the team competition and brings their two-round total to a 4-under 572.
Keith Mitchell fell from first place to eighth after recording a 3-over 75 on Saturday. Georgia Tech’s Ollie Schniederjans leads with a 136. Mitchell has shot 4-under 140 over two rounds.
Lee McCoy and Joey Garber shot 3-under 69s. McCoy sits just outside of the top ten with a 3-under 141.
Host Mercer holds the team lead with a 20-under 556.
