LAS VEGAS – After the first round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters, the No. 10 Georgia men’s golf team is in 14th place with a team score of 15-over part 303. California has the team lead at 3-under 285.
T.J. Mitchell led the Bulldogs with a 1-over 73 and is in 19th place individually. Stanford’s Patrick Rogers, who carded a 6-under 66, is atop the individual leader board.
Georgia also counted a 2-over 74 from Sam Straka, and a 6-over 78 from Michael Cromie and Nicholas Reach.
