UGA Gameday app now available for Android smartphones

Android users can now get the Athens Banner-Herald’s award-winning coverage of Georgia athletics on their smartphones in the new UGA Gameday app in the Google Play store.

The app, which also works on some Android tablets, offers access to all of the Banner-Herald’s Georgia coverage, including stories, videos, schedules and a social media wall to connect with other Bulldog fans, check in at games, post photos and share with Twitter and Facebook.

The app is free and can be found here in the Google Play store.

The Banner-Herald’s award-winning Gameday app for iPad is still available in the iTunes store here, but expect a redesigned version with more emphasis on up-to-the-minute news to be available later this month for iPads and for the first time on iPhones.
