Blog: Some Georgia football comings and goings

Here’s an update on the additions and one bit of attrition for the Georgia football team.

First, reserve defensive end/outside linebacker Dexter Morant has left the school “due to academic considerations,” according to UGA.

The rising redshirt junior from Manning, S.C., never played in a game for the Bulldogs. He worked on the scout team but was often sidelined during a career that included two shoulder surgeries.

Morant made news before his first practice at Georgia in 2010 when he left the team but returned after four days.

Meanwhile, Georgia has updated its team roster to include the 13 early enrollees.

Here they are with jersey number, position and height and weight
