Soccer splits pair

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Georgia soccer team split a pair of spring games against Tennessee and UNC-Greensboro on Saturday at Regal Stadium.

The Bulldogs fell to the Lady Vols 2-1 in the first game, but rebounded with a 3-0 win over UNCG in the second game.

Against Tennessee, Ashley Miller scored the only goal with an assist from Jamie Pollock.

Against UNCG, Miller scored her second goal of the day when she beat two players on the dribble, then put a sliding shot past the goalkeeper from 6 yards out.

Nicole Locandro and Torri Allen also scored in the victory and Caitlin Woody earned the shutout for the Bulldogs.
