Georgia will be paying $50,000 more to its new defensive line coach than it did last season.
Tracy Rocker, who coached the last three seasons for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, will get an annual salary of $300,000. He replaced Chris Wilson, who had a salary of $250,000 in his one season.
Kevin Sherrer, hired after a season as defensive coordinator at South Alabama, is getting a salary of $200,000, according to information obtained in an open records request.
Sherrer is expected to coach linebackers. Inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti was making $285,000 last season.
As previously reported, new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has a three-year deal worth $850,000 annually, the same terms that former defensive coordinator Todd Grantham had before leaving for Louisville.
