Georgia inside linebacker Christian Robinson is getting his share of new nicknames.

At Georgia’s Ladies’ Clinic earlier this summer, he heard `Bombshell’ and `Barbie.’

Tight end Arthur Lynch is going in a different direction for Robinson’s new blond Mohawk do.

“He’s the `Honey Backer,” Lynch said.

Robinson was in Italy in May for a study abroad program with teammates Ty Frix and Lynch.

The senior said he was having “a lot of fun and decided to do something crazy. I only have a few months left until I’ve got to get a real job so I said `Why not?’”

The new color came from a rugby player who said he would style Robinson’s hair on the cheap.

“I did all blond,” Robinson said.

Now it’s just blonde down the middle.

“I don’t think I would advise it for my child, but that’s what he likes,” Lynch said. “He’s got good feedback.”
