A week after announcing his departure, Brandon Burrows is back.
The redshirt sophomore linebacker announced on Thursday he was leaving Georgia in search of more playing time and a return to defensive end, which he played in high school. Coach Mark Richt even gave Burrows his blessing and, more importantly, an unconditional release.
But Burrows had a change of heart shortly after the announcement, according to this report from our pal Fletcher Page at DawgPost.com.
In it, Burrows tells Page that he is feeling 100 percent healthy — an injury kept him from playing last year – and that defensive line coach Rodney Garner made some good points about his health and position on the depth chart.
Here’s a link to the original story about Burrows’ departure.
