Georgia football coach Mark Richt was not at practice on Monday while he continued to tend to a family matter. Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and Grantham filled in on his call-in show. …Besides Jones, Georgia’s injury list was rather lengthy. Defensive end Cornelius Washington (strained hamstring) and offensive lineman Watts Dantzler (ankle) didn’t practice. Cornerback Malcolm Mitchell (ankle and shoulder), receiver Michael Bennett (knee) and cornerback Damian Swann (knee) were limited. Bobo indicated he expected the players back later this week. He described the injuries “as normal wear and tear after a big ball game and then we played late at night. Not a lot of people got a lot of rest and treatment.” … Nose guard John Jenkins (lower leg) was not listed on the official injury report.
