Georgia tight end Jay Rome has missed “three or four days” of practice with a strained hamstring, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said. He’s not expected to practice today, but could return Monday. Head coach Mark Richt said that Arthur Lynch is a “very solid No. 1 starter right now,” at the position. Freshman Ty Flournoy-Smith also is expected to play.
…Receiver Michael Bennett was a new addition to the injury list. He’s limited with a quadriceps contusion. Backup offensive lineman Hunter Long (broken foot) is the only scholarship player that is considered out for the Buffalo game.
