Quick hits: Murray one TD shy of 100, recalls his favorite scoring play

Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is one touchdown pass away from 100 for his career. His favorite, he said, is probably not the one you would think of — a 32-yard, first-quarter touchdown pass to Orson Charles in a 42-34 win against Georgia Tech in 2010. “That was just a big game that we needed to win the game to make it to a bowl game,” Murray said. “I just remember rolling to the left and throwing it to him and he ran a little in route and broke it back out. It was pretty sweet.” The only other SEC quarterback to reach 100 TD passes is Florida’s Danny Wuerffel with 114.

… Junior college transfer receiver Jonathon Rumph has been “very limited” in practice coming off a hamstring strain and is “still doubtful” for Saturday, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said.

… Head coach Mark Richt on freshman offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow possibly playing this year: “He’s practicing well. We’re not counting out his chances of playing this year.”
