Reporters asked Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo if he had seen the “Honey Bobo” sign that was displayed on ESPN’s College GameDay before the South Carolina game. The sign featured a picture of Bobo with golden, curly hair, akin to the main character in TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” Bobo laughed and said, “I have not seen the show, but I saw the sign. Everybody made sure to send me a picture of it. I wish I had hair like that.”
…Georgia practiced in helmets and shorts Wednesday and will do the same today. Linebacker Dexter Morant (illness) was held out of practice for a second consecutive day.
…On Wednesday, head coach Mark Richt said of his freshman tailbacks Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall: “They’re not in awe of the situation, but they’re enjoying it. Nothing is old hat to them yet. I don’t think they have the expectation of ‘I deserve this. I deserve that’… and I doubt they will because they’re just that kind of people.”
