Quick hits: CB Shaq Wiggins reaffirms commitment to UGA

Sandy Creek cornerback Shaq Wiggins reaffirmed his commitment to Georgia on Thursday night via Twitter.

Wiggins had said last month he was still considering South Carolina among others. “I canceled the rest of my (official visits),” Wiggins tweeted. “I’ve decided to stay committed to UGA and display my talents there.”

 

… Former Georgia running back Thomas Brown has left Tennessee-Chattanooga’s staff after one season as running backs coach to join Georgia State’s staff, according to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press. Brown was on Georgia’s strength staff during the 2011 season.
