Other Classic teams revealed

Missouri, Notre Dame and California are the possible opponents for Georgia in the CBE Classic basketball tournament Nov. 21-22 in Kansas City, Mo.

Those four teams were announced Monday as the field for the semifinal and championship rounds when the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame class was revealed. Each team will play two games at Sprint Center.

The exact matchups have not been determined, according to the Gazelle Group, the Princeton, N.J.-based organizer.

Missouri is ranked No. 22 in this week’s Associated Press poll and Notre Dame is No. 8. California is 14-13 this season.

Georgia will also play two regional games in the tournament between Nov. 13 and 17th in Athens as previously reported.

The Bulldogs lost this season to Notre Dame, 89-83 in overtime, on Nov. 25 in the Old Spice Classic in Orlando

Georgia is 0-3 all-time against Missouri, including 89-61 at Missouri on Jan. 2, 2010 and 83-76 in Athens on Jan. 3, 2009.

The Bulldogs last played California on Dec. 7, 2002 in Atlanta. The Bulldogs won 78-73 in overtime as part of the Peach Bowl Classic.
