Ole Miss edges Georgia men’s tennis team

OXFORD, Miss. — The No. 7 Georgia men’s tennis team lost the doubles point and then lost the match as No. 9 Ole Miss posted a 4-3 Southeastern Conference victory.

The Bulldogs – who had won the doubles point in 10 of their 12 previous matches in 2013 – tied it at 1-1 when Nathan Pasha defeated Stefan Lindmark 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and then went up 2-1 when Garrett Brasseaux beat Adrian Skogeng 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.

Ole Miss then won at No. 2 and No. 1 singles to go up 3-2, and William Kallberg captured the victory for the Rebels (9-2, 3-0) with a 1-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-4.
