OL Chris Burnette to miss spring practices

Georgia’s offensive line is returning all of its starters this season, but will be missing one on the practice field until the fall.

Right guard Chris Burnette will miss spring practices after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the school confirmed Thursday.

A full recovery is anticipated for the start of the season, said Ron Courson, assistant athletic director for sports medicine.
