We don’t do music videos much on the blog here, but I am passing along a couple this week that were brought to my attention.
What I won’t do for the fans. Or something like that.
One is a song called “Bulldog City” by the Dirtty Toes.
My take: Good beat and I like the matching hat and barbecue apron that the singer is wearing at the :50 mark. Kudos for fighting Gamecock coaches and Spurrier shaking his head.
The other is from Todd Unzicker, who used to cover the team for the Georgia Rivals.com site back in the day. Actually, his wife, Ashley, made this parody video for the South Carolina game with friends from the Raleigh/Durham area, where they now live. It’s called “I’m a Bulldawg.”
My take: This song sounds somewhat similar to what Miley Cyrus sang at the VMAs, but it’s much more family-friendly. And how can you not like a bunch of cute kids?
Finally, this wasn’t sent to me, but it’s The Who. And that’s all that needs to be said. Oh, yeah, they do play it in Sanford Stadium, too.
