Georgia sophomore midfielder Alexa Newfield lifted Georgia to an overtime win for the second time in three games, scoring the game-winner with 5:57 left in overtime to lead the Bulldogs to a 2-1 win over Mercer on Friday.
Newfield scored a pair of goals in the win for her fist multi-goal effort of the season and the second of her career with Georgia (4-2).
