Blog: New hoops assistant’s salary figure released

Newly hired Georgia men’s basketball assistant coach Yasir Rosemond will be paid at the same annual salary as his predecessor.

Rosemond is getting a salary of $160,000 per year, according to an open records request, which is what fifth-year assistant Stacey Palmore was making this past season before parting ways with the program.

Georgia says that Rosemond, an Atlanta native hired after two seasons at Samford, is the only candidate that interviewed for the job with head coach Mark Fox.
