Mark Richt’s son joins Bulldogs staff

Former Prince Avenue Christian quarterback Jon Richt is joining his father’s staff at Georgia.

Jon Richt will serve as a volunteer quality control assistant for the Bulldogs under coach Mark Richt, a team spokesman said Saturday.

He will work with the offense after being the quarterbacks coach at D1 Nashville, a training site.

Richt played at Mars Hill (N.C.) College in a career that ended in 2012 after transferring from Clemson.
