Brandon Burrows won’t have another season on the Georgia football team .
The rising redshirt senior reserve linebacker is taking a medical disqualification, Georgia confirmed Thursday night.
Burrows is the seventh Georgia scholarship player off the team since the end of last season.
Another, cornerback Shaq Wiggins, announced on his Twitter account on Thursday that he will be transferring to Louisville, where he will join safety Josh Harvey-Clemons who was dismissed from the team this winter. Wiggins and Georgia parted ways earlier this month.
Burrows, a Walton High School product, left the team with the intention of transferring two years ago but returned a week later and played in three games. He did not play in any games last season while serving on the scout team
He underwent right shoulder surgery in 2011 and reinjured it training in the summer of 2013. He also had a broken left hand and a concussion at Georgia.
