LB Jenkins, OL Pyke among UGA preseason standouts

Georgia coach Mark Richt said coaches are “pretty close” to knowing who will start on the offensive line, but wouldn’t divulge that.

“We’ll let Clemson find out when we get going,” Richt said.

He did name some preseason standouts, first naming starting offensive right guard Greg Pyke.

He said tight end/H-back Quayvon Hicks has had “a really solid camp.”

He mentioned two outside linebackers: Jordan Jenkins has had “an outstanding camp,” and Leonard Floyd “just loves football. He loves to play and works hard and does a good job.” Safety Corey Moore “had a very solid camp.”

Kicker Marshall Morgan also drew praise as did punters Collin Barber and Adam Erickson.
