Gym Dogs’ Rogers named SEC Freshman of the Week for second time

Georgia’s Brittany Rogers has been named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.

Rogers set career highs with a 9.925 on uneven parallel bars and a 9.9 on balance beam on Saturday against Florida. She also had 9.875 on vault.

This is the second time Rogers has been named SEC Freshman of the Week. She followed teammate Brandie Jay when the Gym Dogs won the honor back-to-back on Jan. 28 and Feb. 5.

No. 8 Georgia will travel to Missouri on Friday.
