Georgia freshman quarterback Brice Ramsey worked with the “Georgia” team in Wednesday night’s scrimmage behind Aaron Murray and Hutson Mason, completing 1 of 2 passes. No yardage total was provided.
Redshirt sophomore Christian LeMay was with the Clemson team simulating Tajh Boyd.
“Right now we’ve got to decide who’s going to be the No. 3 QB,” Richt said.
Of LeMay’s showing on Wednesday, coach Mark Richt said: “With the time that he had, I thought he did well,” Richt said. “He didn’t have a boatload of protection.”
Ramsey, from Camden County, is picking up things quickly.
“He’s very impressive,” Murray said earlier this week. “I tell him what we’re doing right now as an offense is a lot more advanced than what the offense was my freshman year. I was struggling over the basic stuff. We’ve evolved over the last three or four years. Brice has learned stuff that I never learned until my sophomore, junior year. He’s getting the opportunity to learn it as a freshman. … Obviously he has all the skills out there throwing the ball.”
