STANFORD, Calif. — The Georgia women’s golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its season on Sunday with a 307 in the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate. The Bulldogs finished 15th in the field at 901.
Georgia’s counting scores on Sunday were a 4-over 75 by Manuela Carbajo Ré, a pair of 77s from Amira Alexander and Rocio Sanchez Lobato and a 78, the score signed for by both Harang Lee and Sammi Lee.
Overall, Sanchez Lobato tied for 50th at 224, Harang Lee tied for 54th at 225, Carbajo Ré tied for 61st at 226, Alexander tied for 67th at 228 and Sammi Lee finished 76th at 230.
No. 2 Southern Cal finished at 831, five shots better than top-ranked UCLA, to secure the team title. The Bruins’ Alison Lee earned medalisth honors by finishing at 7-under 206, a stroke ahead of first- and second-round leader Sophia Popov of Southern Cal.
