Georgia safety Norman pops question, gets engaged at UGA Chapel

Being named one of four Georgia permanent captains and an MVP for special teams weren’t the biggest things to happen to Connor Norman Saturday night.

After Georgia’s team gala at the Classic City, Norman walked longtime girlfriend Hannah Drum to the UGA Chapel, where he popped the question and got engaged.

“It was funny because I was pretty much thinking about that the whole night,” Norman said.

Drum, a 2012 UGA graduate, and Norman attended the same church back home in Duluth.

“We’ve been dating for seven years,” Norman said.

Norman, a former walk-on, is starting physical therapy school in August in Nashville, Tenn.
