We haven’t slapped up practice videos much recently since Georgia players can be seen playing on Saturdays in the fall.
Tailback Todd Gurley hasn’t been seen in a game since the Sept. 28 against LSU when he sprained his left ankle.
So here’s Mr. Gurley on Thursday afternoon in a non-contact jersey going through an early drill in practice. He’s presumably not going at the type of speed that you will see against Florida a week from Saturday.
Anyway, here’s three Gurley clips. They aren’t the best since we were sort of far away from the action.
Other injury updates:
Wide receiver Michael Bennett (knee) and safety Tray Matthews (hamstring) were running on the side. Bennett looked pretty good, running and changing directions.
I didn’t see inside linebacker Reggie Carter (right knee injury) or wide receiver Chris Conley (sprained ankle) and safety Josh-Harvey Clemons (foot).
Center David Andrews (sprained foot) also wasn’t out there, but Mark Richt said after practice he’s expected to be ready by Florida.
I saw Dallas Lee working with the first team at center with Kolton Houston at left guard.
Tailbacks J.J. Green (sprained and bruised shoulder) and Brendan Douglas (sprained knee and wrist) were in non-contact jerseys as was receiver Rhett McGowan (ankle).
