Georgia-Clemson TV/kickoff set

Georgia has a kickoff time for its 2014 season opener against Clemson on Aug. 30.

The Bulldogs and Tigers are set for a 5:30 p.m. start in a game that will be shown nationally on ESPN from Sanford Stadium.

The game will be one of the marquee matchups in the opening weekend of college football

Clemson defeated Georgia in Death Valley 38-35 to open last season.

Georgia’s first three games now are set for time and TV. The Sept. 13 game at South Carolina is at 3:30 p.m. on CBS and the Sept. 20 home game against Troy is at noon on the SEC Network. The Nov. 1 game against Florida in Jacksonville is also set for 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
