Another Georgia freshman defensive back will miss this season after undergoing surgery.
Safety Paris Bostick from Tampa, Fla., will take a redshirt after undergoing recent toe surgery, according to Georgia.
Freshman cornerback Reggie Wilkerson already is lost for the season after undergoing knee surgery after being injured in summer workouts.
Wilkerson had earned a spot in Georgia’s rotation in the secondary after enrolling early. The 6-foot-1, 217-pound Bostick, a three-star recruit, wasn’t expected to play as prominent a role immediately.
Bostick’s surgery repaired a left great toe injury sustained during his senior season at Tampa Plant High School, the same school where Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray and former Bulldogs tight end Orson Charles played.
