Former UGA QB David Greene to join SEC Network

Add another former Georgia athlete to the SEC Network’s on-air talent roster.

David Greene, who passed for 11,528 yards as the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback from 2001-04, will host “Film Room,” airing Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m.

He will sit down with a different head coach each week to break down game footage.

“My goal is to bring a new layer of depth to fans on why teams are successful on the field and the mindset of a coach during a game,” Greene said in a statement.

Former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb is an analyst to the recently launched network. Former Georgia volleyball and basketball player Maria Taylor is a co-host on the nightly SEC Now and a sideline reporter. UGA alum Tony Barnhart, who has a long career as a sportswriter and broadcaster, also is contributing to studio programming.
