Georgia added to its impressive recruiting haul on Saturday with the addition of Buford offensive lineman Josh Cardiello.

The addition of Cardiello to the Bulldogs‚Äô commitment list ties them with Florida at 16 commits for the 2013 class ‚Äî most in the SEC. Cardiello‚Äôs commitment moved Georgia up from seventh to sixth in Scout.com‚Äôs 2013 national recruiting rankings ‚Äî behind Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida and Ohio State.
The Buford lineman picked Georgia over a slew of schools including Florida, Florida State, Nebraska and South Carolina.
‚ÄúIt feels good to have it over with now,‚Äù he told Scout.com. ‚ÄúI will now be about to focus on the season at Buford and try to win my third state championship. I will be moving to Georgia in January, and I want to go in as a state champion.‚Äù
Cardiello is considered a three-star prospect by Scout.com and the No. 3 center in the country. He is the second offensive line prospect to commit to Georgia‚Äôs for the class of 2013.
