Bobo mum on Georgia Southern head coaching job

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mike Bobo declined to comment specifically about whether he’s interested in the Georgia Southern head coach opening.

“Right now I’m just disappointed that we didn’t get it done today, to be honest,” Bobo said.

He did address his aspirations to be a head coach eventually.

“I think we all, well I, aspire to be a head coach one day,” Bobo said. “Where at? I don’t know. I also aspire to win a championship here at the University of Georgia. We’ve been close so many times and I do feel like the ingredients are there. I do feel like Mark Richt is one of the best head coaches in the country. We’re able to get players and have guys that can make plays.”
