A look at UGA’s O-line depth

Could Georgia have more offensive line depth even after losing starters Chris Burnette, Kenarious Gates and Dallas Lee, all seniors last season?

Georgia coach Mark Richt offered this up on Saturday: “I don’t know if we’ve got two full lines that can play but we’re getting closer to that around here, which is a good thing.”

The sixth man for now is senior Watts Dantzler, who is working behind right tackle Kolton Houston.

Dantzler, a senior, has experience playing guard.

“It’s kind of mixed emotions,” said the 6-foot-7, 315-pound Dantzler. “Just kind of doing what the coaches asked me to do. They asked me to play tackle. Going out there, giving it my best. I haven’t played that since kind of freshman, sophomore year. It’s not too bad. At least I don’t have to block Jarvis (Jones). That’s a plus.”

Zach DeBell, Josh Cardiello, Hunter Long and Greg Pyke are among other backups.
