On Sunday at Stegeman Coliseum, Georgia had five players in double figures and 11 of the 12 Lady Bulldogs who played scored at least two points in a 91-32 victory over Kennesaw State.

NOTEWORTHY: Tiaira Griffin, who hit 4 of 8 3-point attempts and had 13 points against Kennesaw State, is Georgia’s leading scorer, averaging 15.4 points (in 24.3 minutes) per game. … Freshman Halle Washington recorded a blocked shot against Kennesaw State and has 12 for the season. … Against Lipscomb, the Lady Bulldogs exceeded their previous best scoring output by 11 points. … The Lady Bisons have been playing without Alex Banks, who has seen action in only one game, posting a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds; Danay Forthergill has also played just one game, but she had 19 points and three rebounds against Jacksonville State. … Ashley Southern, who has six double-doubles this season, has twice been named Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Week. … Like Georgia, which recently returned from a 12-day break between games, the Lady Bisons took a considerable early-season respite, losing to Murray State 86-79 on Dec. 30 and defeating Jacksonville State 14 days later. … Lipscomb players from Georgia include Maya Dillard (Buford), freshman forward Elise Spann (Allatoona) and senior forward O’Neisha Smith (Chapel Hill). … Greg Brown, a Lipscomb alum, is in his second season as coach of the Lady Bisons; he’s got a 5-31 record.
